2009 - A YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS
2009 will be a year of higher heights... A year we are called into deeper worship of our King of kings.
Those called, chosen and following hard after Him will experience this. And NOT from where we are necessarily at this moment, but higher heights than ever before experienced.
The valleys will look deeper but the mountains will reach the heavens.
This is the year of great reward. What have you sown? This is the year of reaping. READ MORE

"I, the LORD, can't forget you.
I have carved your
name in my hand.
I think about you all the time!"
(from Isaiah 49:15-16)

ARE YOU ALIVE?
... then, know this …
You can never go
so far that
the love of God
cannot reach you.
~A PROMISE ~
The Lord will work out
His plans for your life.
His faithful LOVE
endures forever.
(Psalm 139:8) |

All you have is the present – make it count.
Yes, plan for tomorrow for it may well arrive, but all you have is THIS moment.
DO all you can TODAY.
James 4:13,14 AMP
Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a city and spend a year there and carry on our business and make money. Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air].
Spend your efforts on the people you love – make dreams happen.
Kids grow up too fast, loved ones die and tomorrow may never come.
LIVE A DREAM EACH DAY – in whatever measure it is at all possible...
DO IT TODAY, this week, NOW.
BEGIN the project, start the journey. Take time!!
Let your love and your light shine – TODAY.
Lord, may we, in THIS day, have no lost moments to grieve over.
Psalm 90:12
Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.

A PERSONAL NOTE: 2007 felt like being steamrolled and caused me to consider many things about my life … and LIFE.
UPDATE 2-2009: Mom is still with me and doing - above and beyond ALL we could ask or imagine. We have taken a few trips and enjoyed some things on our 'One day I'll do..." list.
May 2007 my Dad passed away in May. By July my Mom was in a nursing home and mentally "AWOL". [PRAISES to the God most high, although totally unexpected by medical personnel, she suddenly began recovering and came home in November! Miracles happen.]
I heard my parents talk about all the things they wanted to do or meant to do when they retired; travel, visit friends and family, buy a travel home and cross the USA [with me driving] to see all its wonders... Yet, even things they could have done were put off to – later.
They never got around to IT and now they can’t. For Mom and Dad, “later” will not come.
As Dad worsened, I recalled all the plans he and I had to minister together; tag-team teaching witnessing classes, hold revivals – BUT we never quite got to it. Although I did have the privilege of working with Dad in these areas, we never launched our ministry together after he retired because of .... whatever.
Dad died. Mom and I talked about all the things they, as a couple, dreamed of doing, of the things the 3 of us had hoped to do, and she and I could STILL do, even though Dad was gone. Mom wanted to travel cross country, see the USA and loved ones. Go to the northeastern states to see the leaves turn , visit all her grandchildren, visit Callaway Gardens, go to Guido Gardens in Metter, GA... Quilt one more quilt... See her new great-grandson.We haven’t done any of them.
It is possible I may do some of these things in my lifetime – or not – BUT it won’t happen for Mom and Dad, and I will not be doing it with either of them. I am praying for Mom to be restored, unless God has decided its time for Mom to come Home.
So, maybe Mom and I have a chance for some of those dreams and hopes. Only God knows.
I am determined to seize the day with those I love. By His grace, I will NOT put off LIFE until tomorrow, and in the midst of my sadness and grief...
I will NOT lose heart!
Eph 3:10-15
[The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.
This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord,
In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).
So I ask you not to lose heart
[not to faint or become despondent through fear] at what I am suffering in your behalf. [Rather glory in it] for it is an honor to you.
For this reason seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].
