If we are going to bless the nations we must:
• Be the Light of the World
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set
on a hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and
put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light
unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
• Be the salt of the World
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his
savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing,
but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mark 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith
will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
• We must be One with one another
John 17: 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I
in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that
thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may
be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and
that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as
thou hast loved me
If we are not one in the unity of the Spirit then we cannot bless the Nations
• We must love one another
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another;
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved
you.
Joh 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
Ro 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth
another hath fulfilled the law.
1Th 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you:
for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through
the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another
with a pure heart fervently:
1Jo 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that
we should love one another.
1Jo 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name
of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jo 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every
one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1Jo 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1Jo 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God
dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
2Jo 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment
unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
THE WORLD CANNOT SEE US LOVE ONE ANOTHER IF WE ONLY DO IT AT CHURCH.
THE REIGN OF GOD DEMANDS THAT WE DO IT OUTSIDE OF THE CHURCH WALLS
• We must love our neighbors the way we love ourselves
• Le 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge
against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself: I am the LORD.
• Mt 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
• Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt
love thy neighbour as thyself.
• Mr 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater
than these.
• Lu 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
• Ro 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou
shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly
comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
• Ga 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even
in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
• Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the
scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Why does the Bible say especially them who are of the household of faith?
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all
men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Because this is where we learn to love our neighbor! We practice on one
another
So that when we love our neighbor we do it right!
AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF “CHURCH” (not as in “I love me”)
We love ourself the body not ourself “me”!
IMAGINE IF WE LOVED YOUR NEIGHBOR THE WAY WE LOVE AND CARE FOR EACH OTHER. ALL
OF US HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY THE BODY. WE HELP EACH OTHER SOMETIMES FINANCIALLY. IMAGINE
IF YOUR NEIGHBOR HAD A NEED AND YOU MET IT NO STRINGS ATTACHED JUST BECAUSE
YOU WANTED TO BLESS HIM.
WE THE CHURCH SHOW THE WORLD THE REIGN OF GOD ONE PERSON AT A TIME!
God is Reigning on the throne and he wants us (the body of Christ) to be
a “BLESSING
TO THE NATIONS” but we can’t do it when we keep it to ourself!
GO!
You have been sent!
May God Bless you as you bless others!
